Sorry for the delay in updating our blog. As you can imagine things have been crazy with getting used to Brayden's schedule and having friends and family stop by to visit.
Brayden had his first doctor's appointment today. He weighed in at 7 pounds 13 ounces (34%), he is 20 3/4 inches still (69%; we orginally made a mistake on his height since we were never told directly how tall he was- Bill thought he heard someone say he was 23 inches but as you all know we could not produce a child that tall). He has a clean bill of health except he did have to have blood drawn today to make sure his jaundice levels are still low. The day before we left the hospital, he was showing some signs of jaundice and it is still present today so we had blood work done. We do not know the results yet but our doctor (who we love) was not overly concerned about it.
Brayden is a doll!!!! He had been an angel for us. He is so content and can sleep anywhere you put him (bassenette, car seat, bouncy seat, boppy, etc.). He is very much so like his father in that way! He has been blessing us with smiles and some great facial expressions (that would be a characterist from his mom). He is sleeping well at night and only waking up to feed which is nice for mom and dad. We appreciate all the love and support you guys have given us and will continue to keep you posted on how our little man is doing.
